This Server is a Proxy for (almost) all the services offered by DaSCoS.

Being the only "entry point", it is extremely and heavily protected by an Iptables based firewall.

The main protections are as follows:

• 1 wrong login on Imap/Pop/Smtp services and your Ip is blocked for 3600 seconds (one hour)
• 2 smtp requests without a reverse hostname and your ip is blocked for 3600 seconds (one hour)
• 2 smtp requests without a host name and your ip is blocked for 3600 seconds (one hour)
• 1 request for Relay Smtp and your Ip is blocked for 3600 seconds (one hour)
• 4 404 errors (http and https) and your Ip is blocked for 3600 seconds (one hour)
• 1 Ssh login error and your Ip is blocked for 3600 seconds (one hour)
• 1 MsSql login error and your Ip is blocked for 3600 seconds (one hour)
• 4 occurrences of the above errors within 7 days and your IP C class is blocked forever
• All traffic of all types is logged with a 30-days retention policy, for deeper offline analysis
• All illicit traffic, at the discretion of DaSCoS, is reported to your ISP provider in real time (Xarf)
